Anybody have a Treager? We bought a "Jr". They said let it burn off the machine oils for 45 min's. I took alcohol & cleaned all the parts off by hand, then rinsed w/ water. That helped the process.
So did some baby backs (brined for 1- hrs, then dry rub) & was amazed at what a great end product it produced in about 2 hrs.
I've been working with a Phoenix natural gas grill till now-hot spots, flare ups. Ugh. Want to do a conversion-add on a hopper & hot box.
I'm getting the picture that pellets can be expensive though, huh? Any other thoughts?
I want to know if anybody has tips on driving my new Traeger machine? Thanks.
