Forgot to upload some pics and share my experience or lack thereof with my first pulled pork ever that I did about a month ago.  Been meaning to make this post and upload pics almost everyday since then but kept forgetting! Plus lazy :)

Just went with Jeff's rub which I love and a quick vinegar based finish that everyone uses on here..couldn't have been happier with the way it just worked so well with the pulled pork.  I did 2, one for me and one for my buddies bday.  Crazy thing is mine finished a whole 2.5 hours earlier as it seemed to not stall where his stalled for a good 1.5 hours dead in the middle.  So weird..also still learning so much about all this smoking which I am having a great time with

"still learning so much about all this smoking which I am having a great time with"

That ^^^ is what it's all about...smoke, learn, and enjoy the whole experience.

Looks like a tasty part of a few meals from where I'm sitting...and a golden brown bark on that butt...nicely done!!!

If anything comes up that you can't find info for, just shout. There are a thousand+ ways to do a smoke, so if you don't find a method/recipe that suits you, someone surely has one that does...just ask. Being relatively new to this doesn't mean you need to go it alone, or blindly. That's why we're all here...learn and share what we learned...and offer help to those in need.

As for cooking times, there are some pieces which seem more stubborn than others, some won't stall while most will. Minor grate temp variances can fool with timing as well. Weights of the pieces, interior fat, fat-cap, bone weight, etc, can all effect cooking times and stalls.

Stay with it, 'cuz you've got the right attitude and you're doing great!!!
