Through some beef back ribs in the smoker about 30 minutes ago. This is my first go at any kind of ribs so wish me luck. I removed the membrane and used a light dry rub (salt, pepper, a little chacere's, and just a little brown sugar), I am using peach and cherry as it is what I had, threw them in my cabelas brand propane smoker.

Good luck!

Those look good, I wish I would have had some of those too.

Alright, they are wrapped in foil with a little grape juice (kids drank all the apple), a little butter and some homemade pepper jelly. Didn't get any pictures, wanted to minimize time out of the smoker.

Also, despite the lack of people chiming in on my request for some not-too-sweet baked beans, I made some of my own, starting with some store bought ranch style beans, threw in some bell peppers, a jalapeño, and some onion, wanted some more content so threw in a can of Campbell's bacon and beans, some salt, and pepper, and some left over smoked pork shoulder from last weekend, covered it with bacon and threw all of that in the smoker. We will see how that turns out.

Ok, they are out of the foil. Temp is getting there, but they are trill a little tough when inserting the temp probe. I'll get pictures when I pull them out.

 Is there any leftovers???

Nice smoke! The ribs look great!

A few beans, but I did two racks of ribs and they are GONE. I would say best ribs I have ever had, my wife gave them top three status, but she was raised in Texas, for my first shot at ribs, I will take a top three ranking from someone raised on BBQ.

Glad your first rib smoke was a success!

Thanks, I have some pork ribs in the freezer that I a going to give a go and thinking about rolling a fatty too.

You know, I haven't decided yet. I was thinking pizza fatty, mainly because I think I have all the ingredients. The breakfast fatties are calling my name though.

I will likely do two, maybe three if we have company
