Ahhh, the Old Days...I didn't know Squat about smoking. The only thing I ever Smoked at that time was Ribs. I would add SPOG and Bake them at 300° for 1 hour in the Oven. I used a foil covered pan with Water to steam them. They then went in the smoker with a way too big fire and Billowing White Smoke choking any one that got with in 10 feet of that little black demon. We thought they were ok but reaked of creosote and the excessive lighter fluid I drowned the Charcoal Briquettes in...JJMy first charcoal smoker was a Mecco. First smoke thanksgiving Turkey 27* and windy, got er done but oh man that was an epic smoke!
I will be doing the same sometime soon. I love my uds but would love to have a mini version for small stuff. I started out with the ECB and it is out back full of dirt and flowers at the moment.Well I got the imusa pot at Walmart for 21 bucks today and I looked all over for a smokey Joe
