I don't feel like I have really started gardening until I put the potatoes in the ground. We have been sprouting them on a counter and today we dug the trenches and put them in. Behind the potatoes are 2 cherry tomato plants under Kozy Coats. There is still a strong risk of frost in the mountains.
The garlic I planted last fall is over a foot tall.
I have put in 6 Manitoba and 4 Stupice tomatoes under Kozy Coats.
The strawberries have blooms
There are snow peas coming underneath the trellis. Behind the trellis, there are 9 pepper plants under Kozy coats. There are 6 sweet red pepper, a jalapeno, a mildly hot red and a minature orange bell.
Spinach is sprouting. I also have green onion and lettuce seeds in.
The haskaps are flowering and some of the flowers are forming berries.
The walking onions are over a foot tall.
The rhubarb is ready to harvest.
It just gets better from here!
