Actually, was my first ever attempt at tamales, which I fell in love with while living in West Texas/New Mex. I know if I attempt them again, they can't be as good as these were. BUT I am guessing there will be no more pork sausages made till I get a butt smoked and attempt tamales again!Thanks Foam, I love this kinda food... Of course I broke my own rules and not only did I not take picture (Kind of hard with maza and husks), but I didn't write it down! I did save my research sites though.....LOL

I made a rub bout a year & a half ago that everyone loved and wanted to know how I made it.... As luck would have it, the only rub I didn't take notes on and to this day can't remember exactly how I made it ! :hit: Homemade tamales, sounds real tasty ! Thumbs Up
