Fire Died on Pork Butt

Thread Starter
Put on a 7.5 lb pork butt last night. When I fell asleep at 1 am the meat temp was about 130 and the fire was still burning 225 steady. Woke up at 7 am, fire's dead and meat temp was 104 degrees. Pretty sure it hit 140 before the fire died. It's a loss, though, right?

Never cooked on a primo but if it's burning coal its more than likely it's not a set it and forget it type smoker. I know with my stick burner it take constant tending to keep the temp regulated. When I do an over night cook I set my alarm for every hour to get up and check how things are going. I don't know if you can bring a piece of meat back from such a dramatic drop in temp. I'm sure there had got to be someone with the answers. @Chef JimmyJ any suggestions?
