Any body have idea on size and placement on 20" pipe how big do you cut hole in side same as plenum? Any drawings with dimensions would be great going to use 3-4" exhaust pipe.

Hey bishgeo . Where did you end up putting the plenum? Iam having the same problem figuring out how and where to put mine. Did it work out for you? Iam guessing the plenums job is just to provide a transition for the exaust. from the cook chamber to the pipe. You definitely wouldnt want the opening into the cook chamber smaller diameter then your stack. Iam thinking slightly bigger, by how much i dont no. As far as placement looks like in the drawings that daveomak has posted the opening is inbetween the top and bottom rack. I wanted to put my opening just above the top rack just because smoke and heat rises i thaught this would be the best place for the natural draft. I may be wrong. I just hope some one else can jump on and confirm [emoji]9786[/emoji]

Hey there. Your cc is a 20" dia pipe? I'm in a build, my cc is 20"x40" and i was thinking about a plenum set up, what did you go with for size of pipe for cc and exhaust pipe? Any info would be appreciated.
