North Eastern Smoker

Thread Starter

Hey Ya'll, Just joined the forum to get the low down on the best ways to do things on my new TMLE. I have been grilling on an offset for quite some time now but have only smoked some king fish a few times. I got the TMLE so that I can learn the art of smoking and add it to my arsenal of hobbies( keeps me home where momma likes me). Before I put any heat in the box I did some research and made the proper mods. High temp food grade caulk, expanded metal fire box, nomex seals for the doors and crafted some tuning plates out of 1/8in stainless sheet(PIA). Hope ya'll will welcome me to your wealth of knowledge.

Hello and Welcome! You have come to the right place to gain some knowledge. I've been smoking and cooking for years and I still continue to learn new things!
