A Slight Twist on Jeff's Smoked Burgers

Had some slider patties in the freezer, so that's what I used.  Used Jeff's recipe as a guideline.

The ones on top had bacon and shredded cheese mixed in.



Some got S&P, some got Tatonka Dust.



After 60 minutes in the MB30, with a combination of cherry and apple smoke.


Plated with some very good corn, for so early in the season. Great smokey flavor. They definately do not taste like grilled.

I followed the recipe sent out by Jeff, and did them at 225°.

I like your addition of bacon chunks into the hamburger mix.  Did you cook the burgers until the IT was at 165?
