Howdy from north central KS.  You all have a real nice place here.  I've been learning lots from it.

I've been using a Traeger the wife won in a drawing and got an old Royal Oak smoker from a friend.  I've got pork roasts (butts) down well enough the wife don't complain no more ;)
I lucked into 3 sows cheap and we got a boar from some fella who didn't need him any longer.  Long story short now we got a mess of little pigs running around.  I can afford to butcher 3 of them for us.  I can only fit 2 in the freezer at a time - so I'm gonna need a smoker that can handle a 100 lb dressed weight hog. Hoping to build one myself and read about several real good ones on this site.
I think I can get some 24" pipe for helping a guy with my tractor.  I've got a good stick welder, a cutting torch and a grinder.  The rest is time, energy and good feedback - which is where you all come in :)

Welcome to SMF, nice size pipe, looking forward to watching your build.
