I have been doing the same smoked salmon recipe for a few years now and although it is good, I was looking for some new ideas of recipes to try. Figured I would put this out there and see what I got back.

My Go-to recipe:
2 parts brown sugar:1 part Salt
2 sliced Jalapenos or one serrano
A few bay leaves
A glass+ of either chardonnay or citrus vodka, depending on your mood
A lemon cut up into wedges
Allow to brine up to 24 hrs.
Smoke at low temp until slightly firm and good color.
Its simple but sure works well!
