Hello everyone! I've been grilling with my mother since I was about 10. When I got married in 98' she passed all the grilling utensiles over to me and I'm not slowing down anytime soon! I've purchased all kinds of neat gadgets to maximize the use of my grill, but still felt like I needed a smoker to really kick things into high gear. I recently purchased a masterbuilt 40" electric smoker. Its not a big green egg or even a weber vertical charcoal smoker but with a little "brainstorming" and patience, I've gotten some pretty decent results so far. I've smoked ribs and chicken on my smoker so far, and plan on going into the "deep end of the pool" to smoke a turkey, Boston butt, and brisket really soon. I'll post and ask tons of questions along the way. Glad to be here!
