wondering about my ribs

Hey fellow smokers..I was going to smoke some ribs yesterday and something came up and had to put them on hold until today.i rubed them done friday night so I was wondering I have never done this before but after two days sitting in the fridge all spiced up they should be fine right

Yeah hopefully I can taste the meat and not just the smoke and rub.....

They're fine to use from a safety point.  If the rub was salt based the rub will most likely dominate your flavor profile.  More sugar based, not so much.  Fire up the smoker and see what you get.

You can always rinse off the rub before you throw them on the smoker for a salt based rub.  That will help a little.

Yeah I didnt think about that.well getting the smoker up to temp we will see thanks for the help guys.

I had this happen once before as well and I rinsed it off, I had quite a bit of brown sugar that had liquified on top and while I thought it would carmelize well it was going to be too dominant.  With that being said, never leave a good piece of meat behind!

Should be fine, you may have to, after unwrapping them, rinse them off and apply more rub, before smoking them.  But all that can do is make then taste that much better.
