Hey fellow BBQ junkies!  I've been searching for tips on using a Brinkmann Trailmaster Elite smoker I bought last year, and thought, what the heck, I might as well join the group.

In addition to the Brinkmann, I also use a Traeger, Jr.  I love smoking all kinds of meat.  The one I haven't got figured out yet is the brisket, but I haven't given up yet!

See you in the forums.

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Welcome to the forum, sound like you are on the right track. Brisket's can be a little tricky sometimes. You need to allow Plenty of time. Do some reading and research and jump in and try one. Probably the biggest thing that goes wrong is not allowing enough time.

Thanks guys!  I've got a fair amount of BBQ smoking experience, but definitely want to slay the brisket dragon.  The folks over in the Brinkmann TLE forum have been a big help.
