I took a smoking class in November 2013. Got kissed by the smoke and fell in love. Brought my first smoker in March 2014.
I have a Master Forge Vertical Propane Smoker. I also invested in a Maverick remote dual probe thermometer.
So far I've done ribs twice and a pulled pork, everything turn out very good. This weekend I'm trying a standing rib roast and baked sweet potatoes.
I'm interested in making my own rubs and sauces, and thought this would be a great place to ask others for their opinions on what work and what don't.
