Hunkered down in SW Montana
Hi All,

Been lurking for a couple months, decided to say howdy!

I just got a sfb for my char griller wrangler, which I purchased last summer.

Worked on the mods the last couple of days, and well......

Going out today to find a few more fine tuning parts.

Fired up yesterday afternoon for some pork tenderloin.
Had trouble getting heat up above 175, but pretty sure I are the problem....grin

Anyways just want to say thanks to everyone involved in this forum!

Super ideas and fixes everywhere....

Thanks!

rd

ps. The pork turned out the best yet, just had to wait a little longer for supper....GRIN!

Welcome RD!  Glad you found us, joined, and started smoking!  Sounds like you are off to a great start and figured out already that folks here have lots of effective ideas.

You said your pork turned out the best yet.  Yep, you'll hear that a lot from friends and family.  "This is the best (insert meat here) I have ever eaten" is music to every smoker's ears.

Smoke away RD and be sure to post pics when you can.

Welcome
I have a duo with SFB and the highest temp I can reach is 275-300 but that's good enought for some gooood smokin!!!

Lemans -----   It would be for me I smoke around 225º up to 275º on occasion.  Check your temp gauge and make sure it is reading correctly
