Pecan & Almond smoked duck breast, first timer

Thread Starter

Hey folks,

Tried smoking duck breasts on pecan and almond wood... 1h 15m on 225F until IT 140F... No spices but coarse salt.

Smoked 2 breasts - one of them never made it to the table, was eaten straight from the smoker :icon_biggrin:

Since it actually was a first timer, I am after ideas for experimenting... So how do YOU smoke duck breasts?

Thanks!

Ed

Now that looks even more beautiful than your fantastic lamb! (If that is possible).

Being the Salty Broad that I am; I just loved seeing the salt on that duck!

Terrific job!

Cheers! - Leah
