Hello all and Happy Easter to everyone! hope you have a blessed Sunday. Beautiful weather here in TN. after seeing Jeff's newsletter this past Thursday it put some fire in me to finally give it a try. unwrapped it, cleaned it up good and went a different route than Jeff although am still using a rub and the Maple injection he shared. I took some Pineapple preserves and just smothered it in the crevices of the ham and rubbed it down real good with that and then applied my rub. thought about the pineapple preserves burning while smoking it but plan on using the maple recipe as a glaze as well and keep the temp down low as to not do that we'll see but anyways it is resting in the fridge now since about 5 Saturday afternoon and looking forward to it and just wanted to share some pics. will post some more tomorrow when it is going and finished. Thank you Jeff for the newsletter and recipe!

Looks great but can I twist your arm for a Miller Lite? Gonna be some good eatin'.....

Hello all and hope you had a great smoking Easter! man this first ham I did turned out awesome! glad I got the butt end so I could almost do it just like a Boston butt cooking style anyways with a little variation of course but it turned out really good and sweet. not your Myron mixon style Georgia ham for sure but oh well hehehehe. shredded, medallions, and burnt ends coming of this bad boy ham for sure. Thanks again Jeff!!!!!

Sorry I am so late............

That's a pretty ham, what smoke did you use?

I am really impressed, figure on doing a ham this weekend. But that's a different story.

I love the Bear-View! There is no better way to appreciate a good slice of ham than on a biscuit! OMG that looks good!

Congrats on a great smoke!
