Help brisket

Reading lots but not clear on putting wood in im gonna use masterbuilt pro dual fuel I'm using propane am I putting wood on to make smoke the whole cook time ?
 
I add smoke until I foil then no sense in adding smoke it won't go through the foil
 
Is there any where to get a solid set of instructions? This will be my first brisket

Nope BBQ is just about all opinion. From previous experience with gas smokers I would use wood until internal temp hits 160. Good thing about propane is you can stop smoke anytime you want. Wrapping is up to you, some do some don't. Main rule is let it be until it hits the temp you want. Trying to go away from your original plan (whatever it may be) just to get it done sooner seldom works.
