Hello all.

I am quite happy to have found this forum.

I currently live in central New Jersey, having just moved here from NYC.

I'm 34 years old and have been smoking meats of some kind or another for the past decade, half of that time doing the indirect method on a kettle and the last few years using a mini WSM I cobbled together from an old Smokey Joe.  However, I just assembled a Char-Griller Smokin Pro yesterday afternoon and seasoned it last night.  Needless to say, I am very excited about taking my new smoker out for a spin this weekend.

I have mostly smoked ribs and butts in the past, but I am very much looking forward to doing brisket this summer.

Having said all that, this forum seems to contain a wealth of knowledge and some friendly, helpful people and I look forward to learning from you all and contributing when I can.

Happy Smoking!
