The bottom drum contains a removable firebox to make adding wood/ charcoal easy.

Counterweight on the lid makes for easy opening/ closing, and holds the lid open while adding or removing meat.

Water bath pan under the cooking grate to add moisture to cooking environment.

I am still tweaking this cooker (air intake, exhaust size) to get it to cook exactly the way i want it to, but it still produces excellent product that I am proud to share.

Thanks, it's not quite as pretty now after many, many hours of smoking meat has dulled the shiny paint. Also, I have added some temporary air intake to the firebox and temporary exhaust to the cooking chamber for this summer. Hopefully cooking with these adjustable and temporary modifications will help me determine what permanent changes I need to make to the smoker next winter (after BBQ season is over here in Kansas).
