Came upon a Wood flame grill on a public auction. I did some research and thought what the heck, bid on it and ended up winning it. I went to the local cabinet maker and begged for some hardwood scraps, came away with oak, alder. maple and some hickory. Went

and bought some chuck steak to try it out. The grill has a small battery operated fan to get the grill really hot and to get it going I just turned the fan on, put some wood in the grill box and stuck a propane torch in it until the wood ignited.  It was red hot in a couple of minutes and ready to cook. The steaks had more smoke flavor than any I've ever had off my pellet grill and they were done in no time. Its a fun little grill.

Hello Steve.  I had never seen one of these.  From you description you couldn't ask for much more from a grill.  Does what it says on the label.  Great score.  Thanks for sharing.  Keep Smokin!
