I think I nailed it!

I posted my first attempt on the site a while back and didn't have much luck with being able to pull it. The second time around went much better in my opinion.

I got a 4 pound chuck roast and just went over it with some olive oil, sea salt, cracked black pepper and a little Montreal steak. I smoked it with some pecan and a little apple wood for about 4 hours before foiling and finishing in the oven. I also fried up some peppers and onions for some sammiches. I added a couple slices of American cheese and placed it into the broiler for a tad.

Enjoy the pics guys!

Looks tasty! What was the internal temp of the meat when you pulled it? Why did you take off the smoker and into the broiler?

I pulled it off of the smoker at 165, foiled it then put it in the oven until the IT was 205. I only put my sandwich in the broiler to melt the cheese and crisp the roll up a little.

That does look good man!
