New Smoker in Little Rock, AR

Thread Starter

I just purchased my first electric smoker (Masterbuilt DEM 40") and smoked a 4 lb pork loin and it came out perfect. Looking forward to learning some great techniques from you all. My ultimate goal is to cold smoke a salmon for sushi, so I would love some feedback from anyone who may have tried cold smoking on this unit.

Cheers,

Hello Ken and welcome aboard!  Don't do much salmon in my part of the country, but there's a lot of info here from folks who do.  Browse around over in the Fish Forum to get you started:

Have fun and happy smoking!

Welcome. Glad you found the path over here. Its like taking a cool sip of water out of a fire hose. Dont be no steenken lurker. I tends to play compooter instead of watching crappy/nutty stuff on TV..so I am always availabe to bs about stuff. Except on Weds..which is boys day out with the guys. Drag up a keg of gun powder and warm yourself by the fire..lol
