Hey all, first time poster, first time smoking today. I have a 30 inch Masterbuillt electric smoker that I broke in today. I smoked a pork loin roast and a rack of baby back ribs. I smoked the loin to IT 140 and wrapped in foil while the ribs finished. I thought the loin turned out well but I think I over smoked the ribs. I did the 2-2-1 method, and added more wood chips the last hour, I think it was too much smoke. I used a rub recipe from this site which everyone liked. This will definitely be a trial & error process, but that's the fun of it! Thinking a whole chicken for next time. Thanks in advance for the tips I will be getting from everyone here!
