Hi Folks

First post.

I`m a Winter Texan from Manitoba Canada.

Summers spent in the Whiteshell Provincial Park and winters spent in the Rio Grande Valley.

I`ve been smokin for 20+years and have recently started with a pellet smoker.

My Canadian smoker is a homemade stickburner made of brick with a propane burner to regulate.

My RGV smoker is a traeger.

Love smokin food and enjoy trying new recipes.

Fish is our main summer feast (Manitoba Goldeye)

Brisket and ribs is winter specialty.

Lookin forward to sharing with all of you.

Just attended ``smokin on the rio`` some great eats there.

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.   That's what we call "Snowbirds"
