Im tryin to think of a way to design and make an automatic woodchip feeder for my gas masterbuilt w iron skillet mod. Im thinking a design similar to an automatic dog feeder design with a cylinder type contraption when the ash falls to the side. Only concern is ash build up smothering the flame. Any thoughts or designs? Im sure somthings out there.

Make sure you shave the rodent first, the hair burning adds an awful taste to the meat. I use squirels, then just toss them on the cooker when they are worn out and mix them in with the beans.

Works better if your rodents are facing the fan, kind of like a dog sticking his head out the car window.  Also, ensures a steady supply of clean air which increases the rodent's longevity.

Good point, I was thinking if we had a way to feed the little bastard some Red Bull, we could get him to power a rotisserie as well. On bigger models we might have to use a Tom Cat or a Possum, but concept will be the same!

The best part is, the higher the heat, the faster he runs, feeding more wood chips, so no need for any fancy electronics.
