Just bought a Big Green Egg about 6 months ago and have cooked on it more then any other grill/smoker I've ever owned. I've pretty much got all the basics down, but still have a lot to learn. So far I've smoked ribs, pork loin, deer, turkey, and ham. Now if I can just figure out how to keep the smoke flowing for a long period of time I'll be in good shape!

Hi Ryan...welcome aboard from another Oklahoman!  You'll find this is a nice friendly place to learn and share ideas on all things smoked.  We enjoy helping and encouraging each other, so just ask when you have questions...someone around here will surely be able to answer.

Welcome Ryan. Know those eggs have a huge fan base. Sounds like you are making some good stuff on yours. Keep us updated on your experiences with it. Thanks. My Mama was an Okie half fast Choctaw borned up in the Territitories around Lawton. Just not quite enough Injun blood to qualify for the Oil and Bingo money..kick kick.
