I have been grilling since I could get my nose over the top of the grate without burning it. But I only started smoking/bbq about 5 years ago. I have been using a modified grill and the indirect grilling method for most of that time. However, my wife has authorized the funding for a reverse flow smoker. So I am pretty stoked about that.
I am currently living in Seattle, WA so I am looking forward to having a smoker with better temperature control than my current rig up gives me.
