Ribs With Roller's Bread And Fried Taters

Thread Starter

For lunch today I decided to make some ribs with Roller's bread and fried taters

I started with this rack of ribs.

I removed the membrane & cut them in half.

I then gave them a nice coating of rib rubbing rub that I like to rub on ribs.

& into the MES - I'm gonna 3-2-1 these. AMNPS running oak pellets.

Here they are right before foiling - coming along nicely

I've decided to make Roller's bread & fried taters with these.

I decided to go with fried taters - haven't had them in a while & they sounded good.

I fried them with some bacon grease & added some small bits & pieces of some country cured ham that I made - this combo always makes some great flavored taters for me

Ribs done & out of the smoker awaiting the glaze.

Glazed

Other half glazed

Cut

Closer view

& plated. Yumm!  :drool

I rounded things out with a nice glass of moo juice  :a37:

Well wouldn't you know I ate too much & now I am incredibly stuffed!  It didn't help that I ate half a loaf of bread right after I got them out of the pans  :hit:   Good meal for a Sunday though  :banana_smiley:

Thanks man!   Everything was very good & if you've never tried Roller's bread recipe you should make some - it's great!  For some reason I can't post the link here but just search for amish white sandwich bread on here...

Hmmm...   :33:  I've never had that problem - are you using enough vegetable oil?
