New Pellet Smoker!!!!

My Lovely wife bought this for me the other day. Got it put together last night and seasoned it. I am now in the process of smoking a Pork Loin Roast for pulled pork tonight!!

 

It is the Traeger Junior Elite Smoker. I'm using a mix of Mesquite and Hickory pellets. Seasoned the pork with some Salt, Pepper, Onion, and Garlic. I will take a picture of the finished product when it is done cooking, Enjoy!!

What are you using for a meat thermometer and interior thermometer? The analog thermometer on my Traeger Texas registers at least 30 degrees high when compared to the digital setting thermometer on the pellet hopper or my Maverick ET 732.

I'm just using a regular store bought thermometer to measure the meat temperature. I lifted the lid every couple of hours to check it. The analog temp gauge on the lid and the digital read out were about 25-30 degrees difference.

 

And sorry I didn't get any pics of the finished product. It got eaten way to fast by everyone!
