This stuff never lasts as long as I would like - once I start it's hard to stop!  & yes I could eat these kind of sammies every day & not complain

LOL----That's what I used to do, even before I had a smoker.

I used to get my Deer Hind Quarters made into Venison Dried Beef, at a PA Dutch Meat Processor in Pennsburg, PA.

Then I'd have 2 Venison Dried Beef & American Cheese with MW or Mayo on nice fresh Italian bread, every day for about 3 months!!!

If I had Ham & Cheese in my lunch box, I'd get tired of it in about 3 days. Same thing with Roast Beef, or any other kind of meat. But I could eat my Venny DB & Cheese every day for at least 3 months!!!

That's why I was so glad when I learned how to make my own!!

Send a bag and we try to determine whether it is better than Jimmy Dean hot for the morning SOS. Free scientific evaluation sample as some might say. This usually cost a person five bucks but we are all Irish on St. Paddy's Day huh?  Holler if you have forgot the snail mail thing. Thanks. Do it take more butter to make the gravy right?

When I was in the Army (Vietnam), and when my Dad was in WW2:

SOS was actually made with Ground Beef.

Creamed Chipped Beef on toast was "Creamed Chip Beef on toast".

Dried Beef was too expensive for the Army to use, so they used ground beef, and called it SOS.

I'm the same way Bear. I get tired of the same old sammies too - with the exception of these & country ham sammies - love them too!

& dried beef is really expensive if you don't make it yourself
