Since it's a holiday Monday why not fire up the smoker. I started with rubbing 3 racks of back last night using Big Bald Rub from Jeff's book, it's one of my favourites on ribs!
Fired up my masterbuilt pro at noon.Got the temp up to 225 then added some apple wood chips.
After 3 hours smoking at 225 to 235 I wraped in foil with a apple juice and whiskey mix for 1 hour
Removed from foil and sauced with Rufus Teague whiskey maple, a Christmas present from my wife! Along with the Maverick ET 732 GREAT present!!
Back in the smoker for another hour hit with sauce twice. Looking good can't wait!
They turned out Great! Just the rite amount of kick from the rub and the sauce.
Happy smoking

Did a fantastic job on those ribs!! Love the apple juice/whiskey mix [i've done it with brandy].  Great looking sauce and money shot!! Reinhard
