They were own sale, got two bags, opened the first one and it was rank, so bad it opened my sinuses! Opened the second and it was OK but......... So I figured I'd just cook 'em all and use the cooked meat in meals this week.

How to cook it? I was undecided also, so I did 1/2 in the smoker and 1/2 on the grill.

You can tell the difference

Oh course there was the smoked also......

I lub chicken!

Looks great Foam. I need a sale on them. I am out.

I hope yours are a bit fresher than mine. I figure that is why they don't put a due date on the bags. LOL

Been too long since I grilled and I always loved grilled food. So I solved my conundrum, cook both!

Peg and I are very grateful to all you bufalo wing, chicken nugget eaters.  Thanks to You we often buy chicken leg quarters for 50 cents or so.  I did a while back get a smelly bag so I brought it back no questions no prpblems.  Its my regular store.  The mind reels at all the different ways we use them and its rare in deed if we aint got some smoked or grilled in the fridge

You should bring them back to the store. If they don't take them leave them in their trash at the store entrance!

I tell everyone how silly they are to buy 2.50 wings when legs or thighs or a 10# bags of quarters are out there. Wings were always the last piece left on the platter when I was a kid, now they draw top dollar because some guy named buffalo!

If you lived 40 miles from the store, got groceries once a week, would you make a special trip back for 5.00?  Me either, usually if I just tell the butcher she'll credit me, but it doesn't give me that meat back I planned to try some chicken sausage with. We'll not go hungry, its just damn aggravating that in this day and time we still get a lot of spoiled meat here locally, I get it, its .50 a pound for a reason.

Where you get your pecan from foam?
Backyard? Last year we had hauled off one tree that split in a wind storm (probably 150 years old anyway), and neighbor burned a few large limbs that broke off another. I think I even offered on here.

Hmmmm.... pictures....... I must have deleted it.

Been using the AMPS with pellets though. Most of what I use now are the pecan shells, Same flavor and can throw a handful on any fire.

Sorry,I didn't know you had such a trek to go shopping! But I do feel your pain,my local Shop Rite moved from 2 miles away to 4 miles and I now have to take a jug handle turn to get there.

Good smok'in !

No, no problem. Just live in country and I have not driven in over 12 years, My license expired in 2002 and never renewed it. Just a personal choice. Nothing is that important to my way of thinking

Smoked chicken pot pie!!

You know how many times I have washed that good china plate?

Stay Tuned, tomorrow same, place same time, new meal!

Foam that's a great looking plate of pot pie! Oh man we love making that with leftover chicken!!!

I wish they didn't attach jury duty to things like drivers licenses. Here in Oregon if you register to vote they throw you in the jury pool. I'd just like to be able to vote without having the additional stipulation... Unfortunately I can't give up my right to vote because of that.
