I'm very new to smoking meat, I've probably done it about a half dozen times. Out of that half dozen 3 times were great, 2 times were good, and the third time was, well we won't talk about that one. I guess the first three were beginners luck!
Most of the time I have been working with pulled pork, it seems pretty forgiving. Did some turkey one, turned out great, still not as good as pulled pork though. Really want to do a brisket but I have a lot of learning to do before I attempt that 14 hour cook.
I've learned a lot already from this site, but like I said, I still have a lot of learning to go!
