Hello SMF, newbie here from the big town of Salado, Texas.  Been lurking for a long time and decided to join.  This is a great site, I'm always coming here looking for new ideas.  I have a OKJ Longhorn that's somewhat modified (ideas from SMF!!) and a gas grill that are used as much as possible.  Looking forward to learning as much as I can.

Welcome to the group!  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of good people here who really know their stuff and genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input around here, and just ask when you need anything...someone will surely have the answer.

Hello fellow Smokeheads....I'm Smokin MoJo from Houston,TX....glad to see I'm not alone in my passion for the pitt...fyi my fave base wood is oak after years of mesquite only but hell I'll give anywood a try at least once...prefered oak with pecan and mesquite added to taste/scent lol

Thats all I use mojo. Oak and pecan.
