Saw this posted the other day and it looked awesome. So I left the wife and kids at the beach house to come back to go to work tomorrow. Football on the TV and chicken in the smoker.

Left them in a brine for about 3 hours rubbed them down and wrapped them in bacon. Just out them on the smoker. Will post pics of the progress.

Again thanks guys for giving me ideas and the info I how to do it. I am slowly becoming addicted.

I apologize I got a little side tracked watching football after it came off the smoker. I don't get many free nights at home so I took advantage of it.

Here is about halfway through.

Here is the final result.

Turned out with awesome flavor was a little dry even after the brine but I didn't use water in the pan because I don't like overly moist chicken. Next time I will use water about half the time to meet in the middle. That is the point I think learn something each time.
