Been getting Jeffs news letters for years, I just wanted to join the forum to ask a few new questions .

I live in Wi and in the winter its hard to control the temp in the smoker unless I use my homemade one inch Foam cover over my smoker .  "Brinkman uninsulated propane "   I was thinking of getting a new one that is insulated looking for pros and cons of differant  brands ie: Bradley ,Masterbuilt , Cajun injector ? I see lots of people having issues with the Bradley but also with MBS.

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

I'm sure some folks up in the tundra might have better advice than me, but i've found that my ceramic egg can maintain temp regardless of the outdoor weather.
