So I'm sure you can guess that I'm a new here. I've been smoking meat for a couple years now and I'm sick and tired of using the Cheap Offset Smoker I have now, a Char Griller from TSC. The family asked me to smoke some butts for Christmas dinner and after fighting that piece of junk for 27 hours (yes, I said 27) I've decided that is the last time I'm ever smoking on it. My father in law is a huge fan of the meat I smoke and was really disappointed when I told him I was never smoking on that thing again. My wife assured him I was going to get another one.
Currently looking at the Lang 36" Patio model as I can't decide if the Delux is really worth the extra $300 since I don't foresee me ever using it away from the house. I actually learned about the Lang smokers from Billboards in South Georgia and never realized they were well known. Looking to move a firearm (or two if need be) to free up some cash so I can order one.
Anyway, I've babbled enough, happy to be here and looking forward to many discussions of delicious delicacies.
