Hi all,


My name is Matt and I am the owner of Matt's The Amazing Smokehouse located in Sudbury, MA.  Brief overview of me and my company:  grew up in Michigan and moved out to Boston for law school a decade ago.  Go-to hobby was always smoking meats, particularly fish (I grew up in Michigan surrounded by delicious trout and whitefish, I'm sorry!).  Practiced law for 5 years and decided to hang it up to start my own company.  My business focuses on fish - bluefish (MA waters), Atlantic Salmon (Faroe Islands, Chile), Haddock (MA waters), wild (red & silver).  If you're curious, check out my site: www.theamazingsmokehouse.com.  Here's to sharing in great discussions!

Welcome to the group Matt!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Welcome Matt! Hey never apologize for our whitefish or any good eatn' great lakes fish! (okay, maybe the lake trout) My cousin owns a fishing charter company out of Miami and says that Michigan Perch is second favorite fish of all behind cobia.
