Rest in Peace Faithful BBQ Dog

Thread Starter

Cappy, my Faithful BBQ Dog who protected the smoker from ravenous squirrels and his Coonhound sister has gone on after a series of strokes or vascular events.  He will be missed at the Pit.

It's always tough when you lose a family member.

You have my condolences.

Very sorry about Cappy. It's always hard.

But it looks like he had a great time next to the pit while he was here.

I lost my best friend just a few months ago.  Hands down the best dog I've ever known.  Passed away on my lap and my wife and I cried like babies.  We found him in the pound at the ripe old age of 10 weeks old and had him for 13 and a half years.

I truly feel your pain and hope you revel in the memories of the joy your friend brought over the years.

Just think about the BBQ pit Cappy is watching now. I bet the pit master drops everything all the time.

Sorry man, there is a reason they are called man's best friend.
