since the smoker was already dirty from smoking a turkey, i'm gonna do some baby backs tonight. rather than buy a ton of spices for a rub, i bought a little canister of Weber's Sweet and Tangy rub. i have both hickory and apple wood, which one would be the better to use?
on a side note, is it just me or does anyone else have a bitch of a time getting the membrane off? they make it look so easy on tv and in youtube vids. haha
