Hello, just getting started with my new MasterBuilt 30" Electric smoker and looking  for info to start my first smoke.

I am in the Northeast USA and it is a bit cold this time of year (30-40 degress F) so I am really not sure if this smoker will work or the affect on cooking times.

I've got a couple of questions I am looking for suggestions too and will find the right forum to post in.

Glad you joined us JimBBQ, congrats on the new MES and :welcome1: from North Dakota!
You should have little problem in those temps, wind will be your biggest enemy, sheltering your smoker with a windbreak is key.
