Hello from Wisconsin!

Just wanted to say Hey to everyone!  I am brand new to this forum, heard about it from the smokin-it forum they raved about the rub recipes so I logged on and bought them and now joined the forum.  I am not new to smoking fish but new to smoking everything else.  I have a Smokin-it #3 and just ordered the Auber PID to keep the temperature range tighter.  Looking forward to doing some ribs and pork butt for pulled pork so will be searching the forum and taking suggestions.  Palm tree guru comes from my years in St Petersburg Florida selling palm trees but I was born and bred in Wisconsin and live here again (call me crazy)!

Hello Todd and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
