First turkey ive done on the smoker. The breast was awesome but the thigh was a tiny bit under cooked and the drum stick was real dry. Advice is welcome. I will cover the wings and drum sticks next time for sure. How far along should i cover them? I had the smoker set to max but the maverick said it only was getting up to 260. I did have the probe very close to the bird so that could have something to do with it. Enjoy Ive tried 3 different sites for hosting the images but they wont show up so this is the only way i could get you guys some photos until i figure it out.
