I'm Greg and I'm located in Maryland, USA.

I've been interested in smoking for quite a while.  I just haven't gotten around to getting a smoker and giving it a shot.  I've done some reading and am now ready to take the plunge and get a smoker.  I'll be reading the forums quite a bit and will likely post a lot of questions.  But I try to do my homework first, so hopefully they won't be questions that have been asked hundreds of times before.

Welcome Greg!  Glad you've joined our group  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions Post it
and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is because their
are so many different ways to make great Q We all have our own taste.

Thanks for the welcome.  I'll be sure to post some pics when I finally get around to getting started.  I'm still looking into what type of smoker to get.

For the other MDers, I'm up near Bel Air.
