Hello again guys.  I've decided on a Lang but before I pull the trigger I'm trying to decided on the 36 or the 48.  I imagine the 48 would take quite a bit more wood to get up to temp and keep it there.  That would be my main concern with the bigger pit as I doubt I will need all the space a 48 has anyway.  Any thoughts?

If you have room on your patio, go with the 48".  you will be surprised how often you tend to fill it up.  I doubt the 48 uses that much more wood than the 36.

I wish I could give you firsthand knowledge, but I'm not there yet. As for fuel consumption, from what I've read the 2 are pretty close in how much wood they use. They're known to be very efficient cookers.
