Happy Sunday to All!

Just wrapping up the weekend with today's lunch of smoked sardines, and they were SENSATIONAL! (Especially over a great salad with one of the best dressings ever, if I may humbly say so). Delish, delish, delish!

While so very simple, (I just gutted, scaled, mopped through grapeseed oil and smoked for 25 minutes), this healthful meal was terrific, and thus worth now sharing or so I do believe.

Next on deck are some smoked shrimp paired with a Portuguese rosé, (a little later), as today's fine "dessert."

Meanwhile, here's a wish for everyone to have a fabulous start to the great new week ahead! Cheers and warm wishes, Leah

Wow, Leak. I would never have thought of smoking sardine but their texture with smoke would be great. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks tons Bear, and Disco!

Yesterday's sea urchin was really a 'religious experience' too for me, (smoked just ten minutes and so creamy and even sweet to a degree too), and so I added that to another section in the forums, but these simple and healthful sardines, TRULY came out even better than expected, and I'm excited to add them into my rotation. Fantastic stuff!

Meanwhile, I hope you're all smoking terrific things, and just celebrating this Sunday up, and quite righteously!!! Cheers! - Leah
