chuckies

I see all these new threads on chuckies. So I go down to the freezer and no chuck roast.

But I do have a arm roast ( bone in ) and a rolled rump roast.  Both are 2.5 lb.

Would either one of these work?  I would think so.

Thanks

I think of my pit as an outside oven for those cooks 350* and below, and indirect grill as an outdoor oven up to ~ 500*.  I figure if I can cook it in an oven inside, I can cook it in an oven outside.  Go for it!

Here are some ideas:  http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/newsearch?search=rolled+rump+roast&=Search

Thanks Bama BBQ, looks like a rolled rump going on soon.

I don't see a problem with it. As Bama said. It's just a cooking device.Remember a Qview.

Happy smoken.

Would Jeffs rub be good on it?

If not what would be good?   SPOG?

I like to think things through for awhile.

Make sure I don't have any more questions.

Think I will inject with broth to keep it juicy.
